CMD+V is a New York–based pop artist working in physical collage. Her practice examines the visual symbols that shape contemporary culture.

Grid structures underpin CMD+V’s art: within them, everyday images are cut apart and reconstructed. This algorithmic approach is done physically using blade, paper, and paste.

CMD+V draws inspiration from artists working with systems, grids, and photographic reconstruction, including Gerhard Richter, Edward Zajec, Emily Noyes Vanderpoel, Charles Csuri and Chuck Close (to name a few).
